With its slender silhouette, understated colors and gently curved details, the Maxime cutlery set by Theresa Rand is a distinctly feminine interpretation of a classic flatware design. It was created with the modest ambition of pleasing the eye and withstanding the test of daily use. Thanks to the supple plastic handles, the pieces are comfortable to hold. These cutlery handles, color-coordinated with the blomus range, are made of a combination of satin-finished stainless steel and a synthetic resin, POM (polyoxymethylene), used to manufacture precision parts. This combines many good properties: in addition to being pleasant to the touch, the handles are scratch-resistant, easy to clean and dishwasher-safe.

We recommend non-abrasive cleaning, avoiding any powerful or aggressive detergents. When washing by hand, always clean in the direction of the brush or polish using a soft sponge. Never use wire wool, scouring pads or stiff brushes. Otherwise scratches may occur. After cleaning, we recommend gently wiping the cutlery dry with a soft cloth in the direction of the brush or polish. However, we advise against polishing these items to preserve the special matte appearance. Stainless steel is a low-maintenance material, but that is not to suggest it requires no care at all. As a result, we recommend rinsing off any acidic food remnants immediately after use. There is a risk of the item rusting due to the impact of the acid on the stainless steel.
