The traditional Japanese art form origami inspired the German designer Robin Scholtysik to develop the ORU line for Blomus. What began with the design of a filigree and sculptural side table has evolved into a complete and functional furniture line.
The ORU wall shelving system offers versatile storage options and adapts perfectly to individual requirements. It is available in three different length configurations, which can be combined as desired to create unique and functional wall solutions. Made from the distinctive steel sheets of the ORU line, the shelves combine robustness and lightness. They are ideal as a single shelf next to the bed or sofa, as well as an extended shelf for storing books, displaying decorative items or as a practical solution in the kitchen. The versatile configuration options of the shelving system make it the highlight of the ORU line.

For steel products, regular cleaning with a cloth moistened with lukewarm water
is recommended. We advise only using a dry cloth to clean powder-coated
steel. Avoid soaking the products. The use of abrasive or chemical cleaning agents
should be avoided, as these can permanently damage the surface. Only use soft
cloths for cleaning and maintaining steel. After cleaning, the surface should be
thoroughly wiped dry with a cloth.
