The name AVIO means “married” in Finnish and is so fitting for this series because two halves form a whole with a simple connection. The rounded shapes and symmetrical construction harmonize with a narrow gap and create a simple but by no means boring furniture series, designed by the Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake. The tables are made of FSC-certified wood and are available in natural and black finishes.
With the new size, the series is expanded to include a coffee table that fits perfectly into the family in terms of proportions, whether as a central element in your living room or as a stylish addition. This means that the different sizes can be individually combined with each other. It offers enough space for a coffee table book or a magazine, but also represents a piece of furniture of the highest craftsmanship in its own right.
Care instructions: To clean the table, wipe it with a damp cloth, dry it and let it air dry.

About
Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake (b. 1973) graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo with a specialization in design. He then began his career as a product designer in Great Britain before returning to Japan in 1999.
In 2005, he founded his own design studio. Today, Miyake Design is synonymous with clear and functional product design, from lounge chairs to suitcases, always with the discerning consumer in mind. Miyake favors simplicity and straightforwardness in his designs, and believes that every object has its own form.
This form is not limited to its physical presence, but also includes the aura or atmosphere that surrounds the object and its effect on those who use it.
Kazushige Miyake has received a number of prestigious design awards, including the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award. Today, he is a member of the evaluation committees for both the Good Design Award and the iF Design Award.
Our wooden items are carefully crafted for indoor use and deserve to be protected from extreme temperatures and moisture. Avoid potential damage by wiping up spillages immediately to prevent warping or staining. For optimum care and a particularly long service life, we recommend the use of polishes or oils specifically formulated for the different types of wood. To support the longevity of our wooden products, they should be wiped regularly with a soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water.
