Product description

Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake has created the new collection of shelves called SUKOYA for blomus. SUKOYA is the Japanese term for a square, the tool used for marking and referencing a 90°angle. The name was chosen in homage to the linear frame design of the shelves. With SUKOYA, it’s your decorative and ornamental objects take center stage and not the shelf itself. At the same time, it offers practical storage space and brings order to your home.

Two versions - for every style of living
SUKOYA is available in two versions. The wooden version has an oak frame and wooden boards made of oak veneer. The metal version is made of powder-coated steel with oak veneer shelves.
The shelf boards for both the wooden and metal versions are available in natural lacquered and white lacquered wood, which is FSC certified.
Flexible design options
The shelves are available in different sizes and can be freely arranged in terms of size, combination, and positioning. This allows you to create a shelf that suits you perfectly.
The shelves are designed so that they can be moved freely on the fixed horizontal shelf frame.
Easy assembly and demountable construction
SUKOYA is simple and easy to assemble – simply attach the horizontal and vertical parts together. The shelves can then be added as required.

Available in several sizes and versions.

Care Instruction:

Our wooden items are carefully crafted for indoor use and deserve to be protected
from extreme temperatures and moisture. Avoid potential damage by wiping
up spillages immediately to prevent warping or staining. For optimum care and
a particularly long service life, we recommend the use of polishes or oils specifically
formulated for the different types of wood. To support the longevity of our
wooden products, they should be wiped regularly with a soft cloth moistened with
lukewarm water.
For steel products, regular cleaning with a cloth moistened with lukewarm water
is recommended. We advise only using a dry cloth to clean powder-coated
steel. Avoid soaking the products. The use of abrasive or chemical cleaning agents
should be avoided, as these can permanently damage the surface. Only use soft
cloths for cleaning and maintaining steel. After cleaning, the surface should be
thoroughly wiped dry with a cloth.
